HAWAII | PART 3
It's time to say aloha to the North Shore. It's been fun and we're sad to leave but it wont be long before we're back again. Mahalo, Hawaii.
We've put together some tips to help you plan an adventure of your own to the North Shore...
EAT: At any of the roadside food trucks along the Kamehameha Highway. They have everything from local dishes, burritos, thai, shrimp and shave ice! In Haleiwa you’ve got to stop by Luibuenos for the best mexican food in town or The Beat Box Café for delicious organic goodness. Also try Ted’s bakery at Sunset Beach and Lei Lei’s restaurant at Turtle Bay Resort.
SEE: Hire a bike and ride up the bike trail along the
North Shore, stopping at some of the best surf breaks in the world along the
Laniakea Beach to see turtles up close on the sand.
Wander around the cute town of Haleiwa. Hike up the trail above Sunset
Elementary School for a view of the coastline. Jump on ‘The Bus’ and visit
Waikiki for some shopping.
SURF: Our favourite spots this trip where Pipeline, Off The Wall, Rockpiles, Ehukai Beach Park, Sunset and Rockies.
PACK: Just your bikini! (seriously) but maybe a cute breezy dress, you’re favourite denim shorts and a floppy beach hat. Don’t forget the sunscreen!
It's nice to wake up to this...
