Mexican Fruit Salad
A recipe for Mexican Fruit Salad, inspired by our travels to Tulum.
While in Tulum, we spent our days in Billabong bikinis on the white sand beaches, surfing fun little waves and wandering around town. Surrounded by colorful (and delicious!) fruits we are now inspired to make this Mexican Fruit Salad on the regular. Here is our recipe but we recommend getting to Tulum yourself to experience all it has to offer! Enjoy.
What you need for you Mexican Fruit Salad :
- 1 Pineapple
- 1 Mango
- 1 Watermelon
- 1 Cucumber
- Chili Powder
- A long knife
- A spoon
- A cutting board
1 - First step is to make your pineapple bowl. Cut the top of the pineapple and keep it for later, to use as a pretty lid. With your long knife cut the inside of the pineapple and remove it with a big spoon, then dice it.
2 - Cut and dice the rest of your fruits.
3 - Mix them all and put them inside your empty pineapple, put the lid on top.
4 - Add some chili powder on top for a little spicy touch, it tastes amazing! You now have a beautiful and yummy Mexican Fruit Salad!
Serve fresh, for dessert or as an afternoon snack to recharge your batteries. Healthy and so delicious!
