There’s something to be said about a place that you can travel to many times and never come close to seeing a fraction of it’s beauty.
This is certainly true about the North Shore of Hawaii.
What I already knew was that Oahu is 2,611 miles off the coast of California, a sought out travel destination and the host to some of the best surf breaks in the world.. But I wanted to find something new, something different.. I wanted to find the hidden beauty outside of the “already-been-seen-and-done”. So that’s exactly what my photographer, Grant Puckett and I did. We spent a fair bit of time on the South Shore, exploring through Chinatown, staying on the West Side of the island, taking drives to the East side, all in search for hidden gems and unconventional beauty.
